MVR - Mains Voltage Regulator
Undoubtedly you have noticed that most audio systems sound better during the night and and at the weekend...
This is easily to explain, as during such times the load on the electrical distribution system is not impaired by loads imposed by industrial and other heavy users. The results are impurities (harmonics and spurious signals) that affect the shape of the sine wave, the voltage level and voltage stability.
Though Aitos equipment has over-dimensioned power supplies, it cannot completely overcome poor mains power conditions. For this reason Aitos designed a mains voltage regulator. The MVR produces a constant voltage with a pure sine wave and with a very high suppression of harmonics, radio frequency and spurious signals, in connection with a low impedance.
Aitos Mains Voltage Regulator MVR -1
The Aitos mains voltage regulator prevents detrimental effects common to most main stream /current solutions that result in unclear sound with reduced sense of spaciousness and limited dynamics.
The effect is that loudspeakers seem to disappear which will contribute to the ultimate natural sound reproduction.
The MVR-1 has 3 dedicated output pairs:
