TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Introduction
Aitos products are guaranteed for a period of three (3) year. The tubes have a warranty period of one (1) year. The warranty starts on the date of delivery. The warranty is transferable, provided that the new owner registers the unit within 14 days of purchase.
Aitos has all premium components including tubes, for each product Aitos has ever produced, on stock. Aitos does intentionally not use tubes of small or special production runs to avoid the risk of future unavailability and / or impossibility to repair.
The average life of a tube depends on a number of factors such as the intensity of use, the type of product (preamp or power amplifier) and in case of power amplifiers the loudspeaker efficiency, the size of the listening room, acoustic attenuation, the number of on / off cycles, mains voltage variations, ambient temperature, etc.
All replacement parts are subject to a strict entry check and are measured according to Aitos standards. It goes without saying that only by Aitos approved and supplied components, including tubes, may be used to be able to maintain the highest quality standards.
Upon acceptance of the goods, the packaging must be inspected. A damaged packaging may indicate damage to the equipment. In this case, the product must be checked in the presence of the shipping agent and in case of damage a written report must be prepared.
Conditions and limitations
1. Warranty
Aitos warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under the conditions shown below for a period of three (3) years, except the tubes having a warranty period of one (1) year. In the case of a warranty claim where all conditions are met Aitos will correct the error at no cost for labor and parts.
2. Restrictions
The guarantee expires if not by Aitos authorized persons have intervened in the equipment and / or not by Aitos approved parts have been used. Another consequence may be that the repair costs may become disproportionately higher.
Also the warranty is void if the instructions in the manual have not been observed.
The device must be carefully packaged for return with a written description of the defect or complaint, the model and serial number and the name, address and telephone number and if possible e-mail address of the owner. We recommend adequate insurance.
Aitos will, in the case of guarantee, pay the return freight.
3. Transfer of guarantee to a new owner
The warranty can be transferred to another person, provided that the type and serial number, the date of transfer, name and address of the new owner is submitted in writing or by e-mail to Aitos (Website: www.aitosaudio. com) within 2 weeks after the transfer. The warranty will be continued until the end of the valid period of 3 years from the date of original delivery.
