Aitos is very reliable: more than 30 years in business
Our first power amplifier, the EV 801 was the first fully functional and reliable OTL (Output Transformer Less) amplifier on the world market.
As far as we know all of these nearly indestructible amplifiers are still functioning today. And OTL connoisseurs know how special this statement is! One of the first EV801’s ever made more than 30 years ago is depicted.
We know of customers still using the original tubes: a real proof of the reliability and ingenuity of the original design.
Should, however, anything happen to your Aitos product, we are happy to bring it back to the original specifications, even after 30 years.
Quality and durability
In designing any Aitos component we take into account quality, durability and environmental aspects: e.g. recyclability of used materials, solidity of the design and low idling power consumption.
The design is flexible to accommodate future changes for further perfection.
Every amplifier we built can be repaired and/or brought to the latest specifications. Aitos amplifiers, even after many years of service, keep their value. Buying an Aitos product can be seen as an investment for many years, yes even for a lifetime.
For our products the old Dutch wisdom applies:

A rare phenomenon of Aitos amplifiers is that the older it gets, the better it sounds. This is achieved because the carefully selected quality parts from all over the world increasingly burn in and adapt to each other.
